Dear Colleagues,
we are proud to announce GAIA – Generative AI and Actions for a changing world, a four-day winter school focused on Generative Artificial Intelligence, from its technical foundations to its applications across science and society. The school will take place in Rimini, Italy, from November 17 to 20, 2025.
GAIA 2025 is designed for PhD students and early-career researchers in computer science, mathematics, and engineering. The program includes both foundational lectures on the mathematical and algorithmic principles of generative models, and application-oriented sessions on emerging research areas, including medical imaging, creative AI, LLM alignment and deepfake detection.
Participation in GAIA 2025 will allow attendees to obtain educational credits corresponding to 22 hours of frontal teaching.
The school is financially supported by Spoke 8 of SERICS (PE00000014) under the MUR National Recovery and Resilience Plan funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU program. Thanks to this support, the registration fee has been kept affordable to encourage broad participation.
